Dr. Patton taught high school art in the South Bronx and focused on curriculum design for animation and game design with the Smithsonian Summer Associates. As part of his research in digital art education, Dr. Patton co-created an augmented reality game called CitySneak, which explores disrupting conventions of public space and surveillance with smartphone devices. Luke is an artist, educator, and researcher. Dr. Meeken served as a high school digital and traditional media art teacher and contributed to curriculum design for summer programming with the Smithsonian. For ten years, he explored the critical and creative potentials of digital materials with middle and high school students. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor of Art Education at Miami University, where his art education research can be found at Gilded Green, including insights related to CurrentLab.
Meredith teaches K-6 Fine Art and STEAM curriculum in Fairfax County Public Schools. As part of her innovative approach to curriculum design, she has developed her own resources at CurrentLab, known as Art Invention Lab.
